As we continue to broaden this space outside of social media in promoting type design and typography by and among Filipinos, we hope to raise funds for Type63’s further initiatives and aspirations, such as maintaining this website, producing longer features on designers and their works, publishing exploratory and educational articles, and many more possibilities with the sprouting type design scene in the country.

Type63 exists because of and for the Filipino type community. After a year, it has become more than just an online catalog—it has evolved into a public and connected space where we can ask the whos, whats, whys, and hows of Filipino type and its community—and one voice is not enough to sustain it.
