Imbued with dramatic intervals and a flowing rhythmic melody, Kundiman love songs are riddled with passion, and as such, became @seriousstudio’s source of inspiration in creating their custom font, Kundiman Display. Taking cues from this beautiful genre of Filipino love songs, their custom display typeface is characterized by romantic swashes, ornamentality, and graceful intricacies.

Serious Studio envisioned their work to serve as a love letter to the Philippines — an expression of hope and desire for a country that deserves more.
